Technology-Based Solutions (TBS)

Start Your Journey Towards A Sustainable Future With Us

At Carbon Bank, we offer a comprehensive end-to-end carbon crediting program, from audits and registry to trading of the carbon credits.  We ensure high-quality carbon credits, impacting value and price dynamics.

Our Climate Solutions

We provide two primary solutions for carbon crediting projects: Natural-Based Solutions (NBS) and Technology-Based Solutions (TBS). Both approaches contribute to combating climate change, though they differ in methods, advantages, and challenges.

Technology-Based Solutions (TBS)

TBS leverages innovative technologies to capture and reduce emissions from industrial processes. These projects may include biogas capture, anaerobic digestion, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and waste-to-energy solutions.

How TBS Combats Climate Change?

TBS helps reduce industrial emissions at the source, capturing greenhouse gases before they reach the atmosphere. By focusing on technology-driven solutions, these projects can offer immediate and measurable reductions in carbon footprints.

Examples of TBS

Methane Capture from POME

Carbon Bank is converting Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) into renewable energy through biogas capture technology, reducing methane emissions and generating clean energy.

Biochar Production

Carbon Bank is implementing biochar projects, where organic material is converted into biochar through pyrolysis, storing carbon in the soil for long-term sequestration while enhancing soil fertility.

Livestock Manure Management

Carbon Bank is working on projects that convert livestock manure into biogas, reducing methane emissions while providing renewable energy for farms.

Sustainable Waste Management

Carbon Bank’s waste management projects focus on diverting organic waste from landfills, turning it into compost or energy, and significantly reducing methane emissions.

Innovative Waste Treatment

Carbon Bank develops projects focused on converting waste into energy through innovative fertilizer solutions. We revolutionize waste treatment processes, enhancing sustainability & efficiency.

TBS Project Requirements

Anaerobic Lagoon Depth

Must be at least 2 meters deep to ensure proper processing.

Absence of aeration

The anaerobic lagoon must have no aeration to maintain the conditions required for carbon credit eligibility.

Ambient Temperature

The project area must have an ambient temperature above 15°C to support the desired biochemical processes

Sewage Water Treatment

A minimum interval of 30 days between consecutive sludge removals is mandatory.
